Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea

Achievements and Completion

Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea achievements on Steam: how the list is structured, what the systems behind them are, and how to plan completion.

Quick answer

Steam lists the game as supporting Steam Achievements, and the list covers the same ground as the game's systems - farming, animal care, exploration, village restoration, romance and the main story. Completion follows play, not grinding.

Steam Achievements are supported in Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea, and the list follows the game's systems rather than asking you to invent new behaviour. Nothing on it requires a grind loop you would not otherwise run.

How the list is structured

The achievement set in this game maps onto the systems you already engage with. Reading it as a checklist of the game itself is more useful than reading it as a trophy hunt:

ThemeWhat it tracks
FarmingRaising crops through the season cycle, mutations and soil work
LivestockBuilding a herd, heart levels, top-grade produce
ExplorationReaching regions, caves, remote islands and hidden areas
Statues and wispsPower Statues solved, wisps freed, skills unlocked
Village restorationHappilia earned, villages brought back
RelationshipsHeart events, courting, marriage and family
StoryMain story milestones and the mist itself
WildlifeTaming companions and surviving the wilderness

Because the game tracks heart levels, Happilia, statue counts and story progress anyway, most of the list arrives through ordinary play. Completion-style goals in this series also tend to include a few long-tail items — a maximum-heart animal, a full set of something, a year survived.

Planning completion

  • Build the herd early. Heart levels climb fast from daily feeding and petting, so the animal-care achievements come to you rather than the reverse.
  • Tag every statue. Map-and-travel statues register fast-travel points as well as progress, so statue work pays twice.
  • Do the requests. Happilia, hearts, items and money all come out of the same loop, which makes villager quests the most efficient activity on the list.
  • Travel with a companion. Terrain achievements are gated behind what your animals can break, cross and reach, not behind time spent.
  • Keep a season log. Rotations and mutations are easiest to satisfy deliberately once you know which bed produced what.

Things that take real time

  • A full year on the farm. Season-gated content means some achievements simply will not arrive in the first spring.
  • Marriage and family. Marriage unlocks after the main story and you can have one child, so the relationship side sits behind the plot rather than alongside it.
  • Remote islands. These are gated behind nautical charts and a repaired boat, which puts them late.
  • Top-grade produce across species. Requires the full barn, not just cows.

Notes for PC players

  • Achievements are on the Steam version. Console versions use their own trophy systems.
  • There is no achievement that requires keyboard and mouse input, so the controller-only control scheme is not a barrier — for anything.
  • Steam Cloud means progress carries across machines, so a partly completed list is safe to leave mid-season.

What is not part of the list

Multiplayer and co-op achievements, because the game is single-player with no announced co-op. There is also nothing tied to the pre-order cow packs — those change your barn's contents, not your trophy list.

The systems the achievements are built on are documented elsewhere on this site: farming, livestock, power statues and Happilia.
