Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea releases on 15 October 2026. The date moved: Natsume announced 24 September 2026 back in May, then pushed the launch to 15 October. Anyone still quoting September is working from the old press release.

Release day, platform by platform
The game ships on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam. All five are the same launch window; there is no staggered console-then-PC split. The Switch 2 version also exists as its own "Nintendo Switch 2 Edition" listing on the Nintendo store, separate from the original Switch release.
There is no PlayStation 4 version, no Xbox One version, and no mobile release. Earlier Harvest Moon entries such as Home Sweet Home did come to iOS and Android, so that is worth knowing if you are waiting on a phone version of this one.
Unlock timing
Store dates are local to the storefront, not to you. Steam unlocks happen on Valve's own schedule rather than at local midnight, so a player in Auckland and a player in Los Angeles can see the game appear on different calendar days. The practical rule: treat 15 October 2026 as the on-sale date and check your own store page for the countdown.
Physical copies move on retailer shipping, not on the digital clock. A pre-order from Amazon or the Natsume Store arrives when it arrives.
What ships with the game
- Single-player only; no co-op or multiplayer modes have been announced.
- Steam Achievements are supported on PC.
- Full controller support, including DualShock and DualSense pads.
- Steam Cloud saves and Steam Family Sharing on PC.
- An eight-gigabyte install on PC.
Version and update tracking
This page tracks the launch build. Natsume has said a Season Pass and a DLC roadmap will be revealed after release, so expect the content list to grow. When patches land, the notes here get updated with the date they were checked.
If you are still deciding where to play it, the platforms comparison breaks down the five versions, and the pre-order bonuses page explains which cow pack you end up with on each store. New players should go straight to the beginner guide.
