Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea

Platforms and Versions Compared

Which platforms Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea runs on, the Switch 2 Edition, PC specs, controller support, Steam features and what each version includes.

Quick answer

It ships on five platforms: Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam. There is no PS4, Xbox One or mobile version. The Switch 2 Edition is its own listing.

Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea runs on five platforms — Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam — and they are not identical purchases. The differences that matter are the Switch 2 Edition, the PC feature list, and which bonus cow pack you get for buying there.

There is no PlayStation 4, Xbox One or mobile version. Teradea is not a cross-buy title, and there is no cross-save between platforms.

PC players: read this before you buy

The Steam page tells you most of what you need, and one line matters more than the rest.

  • Controller only. The listing advertises full controller support plus DualShock and DualSense support, and no keyboard-and-mouse scheme. Every menu prompt you see in the game's own screenshots is a pad button — LT Select Song, LB Activate Photo Mode, RB Change Outfit, Y Cook, X Animal Bag, A Sleep!. If you only play with a mouse and keyboard, plan around that.
  • Steam Cloud and Family Sharing are both supported, so progress follows your account and the library can be shared in a household.
  • Steam Achievements are supported, and the achievement list maps onto the game's systems rather than onto busywork.
  • No Steam pre-purchase. Natsume said the Steam version would not take pre-orders; the Mooberry Cow Pack arrives as an early purchase bonus instead, running from launch through 11 November 2026.

The memory floor is the unusual part: 16 GB on both tiers. A 64-bit processor and OS are required.

Switch versus Switch 2

Both are supported on day one, and both are listed as full releases rather than a port-then-upgrade arrangement. Beyond the store listing and box picture, Natsume has not published a feature comparison between the two, so treat the Switch 2 Edition as the version to buy if you own that hardware and the original Switch release as the one to buy if you do not.

Which should you pick?

  • Portability and the cow bonus — Switch or Switch 2.
  • Trophy-style completion and a console library — PlayStation 5.
  • Game Pass household or Xbox ecosystem — Xbox Series X/S.
  • Long sessions at a desk, mods-free, controller in hand — Steam.

The bonus contents are covered in detail on the pre-order bonuses page, and the release date page has the full announcement timeline and unlock timing. If you are already decided, the beginner guide is the next thing to read.
